Magic Sword

Magic Sword (마검, 魔劍, RR: Mageom, MR: Magŏm) is a terminology in the Karsearin: Adventures of a Red Dragon.

Information

These are swords that allow their users to wield magic through the strength of their will. The wielder of this can cast magic with the proficiency of a magician even without any knowledge of magic. Of course, the sword absorbs the mana required to cast the spell from its user. So it is considered a cursed artifact that could take the user's life. Only those who are overflowing with mana and have mastered its flow, namely Sword Masters, can wield the sword properly.

Other than that, it is basically not much different from Magic Items. If it consumes too much mana compared to the magic it can use, it is an Enchanted Sword. If it consumes only as much mana as the magic it can use, it is a Mystic Sword.
