Biography[]
Season 1[]
Reyses said to Arin that then, finally, after taking down him, the evil White Dragon, Darios received the most honorable title, Dragon Slayer, he was the gretest knight in the Karsel Kingdom. Arin, who was listening to Reyses' story, was surprised to realize what that title of Darios meant. Arin thought a Dragon Slayer, so that human, killed a dragon, huh, he's sure Karstein said. In reminiscence, Karstein shouted those bastards were cowardly scum who'd stab an innocent dragon in the back, just to attain some title and satisfy their greed. Arin thought even Karstein, who was always benevolent, would get worked up and angry, whenever anyone mentioned a Dragon Slayer. Arin thought he doesn't understand, just how did a human kill a dragon. Arin solidified one thought that he's so curious. Arin standed up and went outside the tent. Reyses asked to Arin that oh, where he was going now. Arin shouted and answered he's curious about the knight's accomplishments. Arin shouted he's going to here it directly from him. Darios was sitting in front of the bonfire. As Arin approaches him, Darios startled by his appearance. Although Darios thought his expression was a bit strange, Arin immediately said to him. Arin said to Darios that he found him, he's still outside. Darios asked to Arin that what he was doing up at this hour. Arin smiled and said to Darios that he should tell him about how he caught a dragon. Darios briefly told him about himself and his comrades. Gaster, the royal mage, Pluto, the vice-captain of the order of Karsel, and finally, Vera, the best exorcist in Heleis. [2]
When the Flame Strike, the Fifth Circle fire spell of Gaster, a brown-haired mage wearing a black robe, is activated, a violent explosion occurs in the body of the White Dragon as huge as the lord's mansion. After chanting a divine spell, Vera, the shaman of Heleis quickly asks Gaster and Pluto if they are okay, and confirms their well-being. Meanwhile, the White Dragon flaps its wings and begins to soar into the sky. When Vera shouts Lighting Shackles, a divine spell is triggered and a strong light surrounds the dragon, but the dragon sneers and lightly casts a divine spell with 'Spell Repress' - Sixth Circle spell suppression. After restraining it, it slowly flies up into the sky. Darios feels a cold sweat running down his back, saying that the divine spell of Vera, the highest priestess of Heleis, the goddess of destruction and domination, is easily broken. Obviously, a White Dragon would be weak against fire magic, but the sight of the Fifth Circle's Flame Strike as if it didn't work at all makes them realize just how powerful the existence of a dragon is. Darios says he couldn't die like this, and after looking at the holy sword Moon Alstad, the holy sword in his hand, he calls his allies Vera, Gaster, and Pluto. Overwhelmed by the enormous intimidation of the dragon, the dazed companions are able to come to their senses with that cry, and Darios, who sees it, raises his head and looks at the dragon, and shouts loudly that the evil White Dragon, in the name of the holy sword Moon Alstad, he will punish him. Darios' comrades are able to gain courage again by his courageous appearance. Vera and Gaster begin to cast their spells again, and Pluto escorts them in front of them and begins to stare at the orbiting White Dragon. The White Dragon sneeres at the fact that the story of the adventures of the hero had spoiled many children behind, and soon begins to suck the air around him. Hearing the sound of the air being sucks in, Darios shouts it's a breath. Gaster shouts to Darios and Pluto to go to Vera's side, and as soon as he is about to shout the starter after completing the spell, an air-ripping roar resounds throughout the valley. A tremendous chill envelops the entire valley, and the resulting storm cause trees to fall one after another. Due to his Blizzard Breath, which freezes even the air, the Wind Shu Grateus Valley, which is snowing untimely, has turned into a pure white light, and on the pure white ground, Darios's allies are in pain with their whole bodies frozen. Gaster, whose entire body is frozen and can't even open his mouth properly, thinks that he is nodding even after fusion of the Sixth Circle Flame Shield and Vera's Holy Barrier. Although she is young in her late teens, Vera, who has been blessed by god and holds the highest rank in the great temple of Heleis, and Gaster, a royal mage of Karsel who has mastered the Seventh Circle while practicing magic for nearly 40 years, do everything in their power to defend both sides. Although they use magic, the breath of the White Dragon lightly broke their shields and inflicts serious wounds on them incapacitate. If the breath of a White Dragon, who is only about 2000 years old, said to be the weakest among dragons, is this, then how much is the breath of the Red and Silver Dragons, which are called the strongest? What if that Red or Silver is ancient? In the eyes of the Gaster, who is waiting for death by cursing the god who created the dragon race, he sees Darios standing still, although he is a little frozen. He slowly flaps his wings and comes down to the ground, telling himself that there was one decent guy in an interesting tone. Darios hears the sound and shouts loudly that as long as the holy sword Moon Alstad protects him, his breath will not hurt him. Guernsey Darios really believes in the power of the holy sword Moon Alstad, but he is wearing only a thin coat while taking off all of his silver armor. He, who is suddenly curious as to why he was taking off his armor, was startled when he heard the sound, so he screams that why he did take off his armor. When he saw him forcibly taking off his armor that was so frozen that he couldn't easily peel off, he wanted to bring out some great weapon, so he deliberately came down to the ground slowly, and he guesses he was just trying to say that. He doesn't know whether he believes in that skewer or not, but he asks if it's cold if he does. He, who is dumbfounded, doesn't even feel like fighting anymore. He just thinks that that person must have gone crazy with fear. He shouts that the evil White Dragon, if he can't believe it, let him breathe once in a while, and the holy sword blade of Moon Alstad will protect him. Here in the Wind Shu Grateus Valley, where the snow is white everywhere and the remnants of the breath still remain and it is snowing little by little, Darios fon Goldbruf, a brave human warrior, wearing only a thin coat, using the old-fashioned tone from an old story, he screams. He, no longer felt sorry for him, begins to breathe in lightly again, saying that he doesn't seem to feel the cold, and at that moment, Darios flies into the air with the Moon Alstad in his hand. [3]
Gaster, the royal mage, Pluto, the vice-captain of the order of Karsel, and finally, Vera, the best exorcist in Heleis. Darios did not go crazy. Of course, he's cold. To be honest, he was on the verge of freezing to death, but he had to choose this way to survive. White Dragon. His breath is really strong. Previously, thanks to Gaster's Flame Shield, Vera's Holy Barrier, and the Flame Salamander's magic in Darios' armor, he was able to survive the breath that defeated all of his colleagues, but now Gaster and Vera are incapable of combat and have their armor. The frost resistance spell Flame Saramanda, which is on his armor, is also shattered with one blow of that breath. However, he's still able to release such a breath twice more. Now, in order to survive, he has no choice but to take risks. Darios' body flies over 20m (65.6168 ft) at once and lands on his shoulder, and he inserts the Moon Alstad into the vein of his neck with all his might. The scream of the White Dragon resounds in the valley, and the nearby forest begins to vibrate as leaves fall. In order to exhale, you must first inhale, and by using the power of the breath that he took in to exhale, Darios succeeds in jumping 20 meters high, which is impossible for a human being. For this moment, he was treated like a madman by him -he didn't know, but his companions probably thought he was crazy- took off his armor to lighten his body, and trembled in the cold, but he was desperate because it was Darios who forced him to provoke him. The holy sword Moon Alstad is embedded deep in the neck of him so that the blade cannot be seen. He shouts, how dare the human pierce his own scales. There are two ways to cut trees with a sword. There are two methods: a swordsman with good swordsmanship cutting with an ordinary sword, or an ordinary swordsman with a good sword, but the story is different if it is a rock rather than a tree. A swordsman with excellent swordsmanship must have a good sword in order to be able to cut it. Then? What should I do to pierce through the scales of dragons, not rocks, which are said to be harder than any other metal in the world? It is possible if a swordsman with really good swordsmanship skills has a great sword that is really good. Darios is very good at swordsmanship, and Moon Alstad is a famous sword that is made by smelting dragon bones for 30 years. Thanks to this, the White Dragon is roaring with his sword embedded deep in the nape of his neck. In an instant, the tide turned, and Darios slashed the Moon Alstad, the deeply embedded, to the side with all his might, and immediately a great amount of blood poured out of the wound. Blood gushed out despite being a small wound due to being stabbed at a vital point in the blood vessel, and he struggles to shake off Darios. The word sword that sticks well also implies that it can fall off easily, the Holy Sword Moon Alstad, which was also supporting Darios' weight, slips away, and he falls to the ground. Darios fell from a height of almost 20m. Although he has an extremely hardened body, he cannot be unharmed. Darios, who endured the pain of the broken leg bones the moment it hit the ground, and is now waiting for the dragon to fall due to excessive bleeding, hears the chant of a spell that says the dragon that the light of life, the power of charity, new to his wounded body, and he's filled with despair. The moment Darios gave up his attachment to life as he heard the spell of the divine spell healing magic 'Healing Refresh' flowing out of his mouth, a powerful pillar of fire pierces the wound of his neck with a direct hit. [Flame Strike] While Darios was arguing with him, his allies were able to move to some extent, and the Gaster with the least damage got up first and tried the spell. As Gaster's frame strike explodes, his wound widens even more, and his healing spells cannot be memorized and are broken. Eventually, the gigantic white body spews a lot of blood, and the behavior gradually slows down, and after a while he ceases to be active. He says that he eventually died in that state, and he was able to heal his legs with Vera's spell, and from then on, people came to call him a Dragon Slayer, so it turns out he was just lucky. [4]
Darios said to Arin that that's how he died, after that, the people called them Dragon Slayers. This was different from the usual human adventure stories. Arin couldn't help but feel uneasy. After finishing his story, Darios standing up and said to Arin that looking back, they were just lucky, oh, he has been rambling, he should go sleep now. Although he wanted to hear more about other things, Arin nodded obediently. In fact, Arin was a little sleepy. Arin answered to Darios that okay. Arin thought hump, he felt uncomfortable after listening to that story, the White Dragon, huh, if he hadn't looked down on humans, he woudn't have died that way, later, if he ever has to fight against humans, he won't be so careless. [2]
Gaster said it was all thanked to this. Darios was surprised. Jarnan shouted that's... ...the Dragon Heart of him. Someone said no other mage like him existed in the empire. Another said of course, who else has a Dragon Heart other than him, it'd be more accurate to say that there would be no other dragon as pretentious as him, after all, he met him, Darios... the strongest knight in the empire. Darios said he was just lucky... [5]
Pluto said he doesn't be so disappointed, Zaphier did strike him perfectly, only wearing a fairly high-quality armor. Zaphier shouted that armor, it could be... it's dragon skin, even so, that's impossible, even dragon skin... ...cannot perfectly block his Mass Fireball spell. Pluto said this is the skin from him, Zaphier can't compare it to the skins of dragons that have been dead for centuries. Zaitrel shouted Vera. Zaitrel thought the Dragon Slayer Vera... ...who hunted him the White Dragon with Darios, Gaster and Pluto. [6]
The Karsel Knights said to Pluto that as long as they wear this armor made from the scales of him the White Dragon... no ordinary weapon can injure them. Vera said no casualties, amazing. Pluto said it's the armor that's amazing, not them, the Karsel Knights may be the best warriors of Karsel... ...but they're not strong enough to avoid any casualties in this chaos. Vera said they really were sucking the dragon dry... ...no wonder everyone's a sucker for even dead dragons, who knows, maybe someone in their country made bone broth out of his bones. Pluto said him... Pluto gritted his teeth. Vera asked Pluto is still hung up over that... she was also disappointed in herself at first... ...but they're the first Dragon Slayers in 600 years, there should be no other humans stronger than them. Pluto said hmph... Pluto asked since when they did defeat him with their own powers, his Sword Aura didn't work at all, he felt pathetic just thinking about it. Vera thought well... ...no matter how much Pluto take out some puny humans... it doesn't change the fact that his pride is already damaged... [7]
Gabein said on top of that, thanked to him the Dragon Slayers caught... ...they were able to install an incredible number of powerful magic traps all over the castle, their walls, decorations, and even the carpets on the floor were apparently made from him, he can't do anything with his feeble abilities. Arin thought he could end up as a carpet... [8]
Pluto said he's completely running amok. Darios said this remined him of when they battled him, but... ...perhaps it's because they've fought a dragon before... ...but he didn't feel as acared. Pluto said hmm, he looked to be about the same size... but he definitely felt a lot different from him, his attacks were much simpler too... Pluto said in that case... ...he must be weaker than him on the whole. [9]
Karsearin recalled Darios said ...and that's how he died, after that, the people called them Dragon Slayers, and Gabein said apparently, the walls, ornaments, and even the carpets on the floor... ...were made from a dragon. [10]
Kiadrys said to Ifrit that just as the humans took down him the White Dragon... ...what if they go after young Arin. Ifrit asked Kiadrys was saying they could be the remnants of the ones who killed the White Dragon. Kiadrys answered it's highly likely, how worrisome... ...it seemed that they're a prized species to the humans. [11]
Gaster said haha, of course, they knew, they've fought a dragon in the flesh, Kias doesn't worry, that Red Dragon they ran into was a complete flop, he's different from him. Kiadrys said to Eyra that he's currently traveling with the mortals that killed him, Arin may be young, but he's as big as an adult dragon, he should keeping these humans in check should prevent further trouble. [12]
Kiadrys thought so even Dragon Slayers won't go after Eyra, but of course, she's much stronger than not just Arin but him too... [13]
Season 2[]
Gaster said it helped them succeed in assassinating Khernan III and protecting their soldiers, it's a shame they can't make another one since they only had one Dragon Heart. Gaster answered to Ione that no human can physically bear the intensity of this spell, however, the Dragon Heart of him provided enough mana to cast it, without it, his body would break apart, that's why he had to use a catalyst for the spell. [14]
Gaster said he used the Dragon Heart of him... as a medium to fuse species that don't mesh with each other, the only success was No. 95, Aria Seshenes, in spite of the Dragon Heart, the body should ultimately break apart if it exceeded its mana tolerance... and yet, the test subject survived, it could the blood of the foolish dragon have caused it, no, it would be difficult for the chimera's body to absorb blood that hasn't been processed with magic... [15]
Someone said after deciphering the materials they found in the lair of him, they finally managed to creat an unbreakable Vessel of the Soul, the problem was what came after. Crayton said the intense magical fusing used to create the body of the subject... shattered its sense of self, causing it to fall into a deep trance, however, decreasing the amount of catalyst triggered the subject's body to disintegrate... ...although subject 95 is currently alive... ...its body will soon break down, the completion of an unbreakable Vessel of the Soul with eternal mana... ...is still a long way off... Gaster said no kidding, this technique elevated humans to the level of the dragons, it won't be easy to perfect, he knew it's tiring, but Crayton should keep at it. Crayton said certainly, if the experiment succeeded, humankind will overcome the limitations of their species, small sacrifices were unavoidable in the pursuit of a noble cause, the glory of Gaster's achievements will live on for years to come. [16]
Pete said Yuna is exactly right... ...it'd be a suicide mission to summon the Almighty Creature if she can't keep it under control, in fact, 300 years ago, the empire used to have all four seals, however, nothing happened, but what if... they found a way to control this, there's a high chance that the Dragon Slayers she mentioned earlier... know something ordinary people don't, they might've found a way to control this in his lair, thanked to for the information, he had better report what he learned to the High Priest as soon as possible. [17]
Gaster shouted Karstein is an ancient dragon, Arin and he does not even come close to his power, they're nothing more than flies before his might. [18]
Terold said this is different from when Gaster killed him, an adult dragon, how he could harm a Hatchling, especially the Hatchling of a Red Dragon, the only silver lining is that he didn't kill the Hatchling, the moment Karstein finded out that the Hatchling was harmed, he may not end humanity, but they should brace theirselves for him wiping Karsel off the map. [19]
Season 3[]
Karstein said as shoddy as it's, it's still the Almighty Creature at the end of the day, it's completely immune to enchantment and mind control, physical magic might work, but there's no point since it can regenerate, but how they did grant divine power, it's only a speck, but still, humans in this day and age should be unable to harness divine power... Erkas said he felt the energy of a White Dragon, it must be him, they probably used the divine power ingained within the Dragon Heart. Someone said oh, that explained it, geez, why they did have to make it so flimsy, they had made it properly, it would have been easier to recognize... Pete thought how the dragons could talk so casually about... ...a fellow dragon killed by humans. [20]
Kiadrys said Gaster is one of the humans referred to as the Dragon Slayers who killed him. [21]
Karsenian said the interior has changed quite a bit, there wasn't a barrier back when she was in the castle. Karstein said it's made from the remnants of him, how pitiful, such a flimsy defense will not work on them. [22]
Uses[]
His body itself is sold as the highest-priced piece of equipment among humans. [23] Humans really love dragons. Of course, not living them, but dead ones. [5] It seems that the dragons are a prized species to the humans. [11]
Dragon bones are forged into the most powerful weapons. [5]
Dragon skin and scales are used to make the best protective gear. [5]
Dragon blood is used as an accelerator for magical reagents. [5]
Dragon Heart is used as an incredible magical weapon for humans. [5]
The Dragon Slayers know something ordinary people don't, they might've found a way to control the Almighty Creature in his lair. [24] Those who have obtained information from his lair distinguish between the Almighty Creature and Super Dragon. [25]
