The web novel is serialized in 1999 on SF/FANTASY Fiction Bulletin Board of Nownuri (나우누리) and Serial of HiTEL (하이텔) which are dial-up Internet access services by the name of ［초룡2nd］『 The Creature 』: Kalsearin the 2nd story (［Choryong2nd］『 The Creature 』: Kalsearin the 2nd story) and published in December 31, 2000 by the name of The Creature. The first part being released on December, 1999.

Lim Kyung-bae was serving in the military when volumes 4 and 5 were published, and he wrote this work in the military and sent them to the magazine as letters. Perhaps because of this, volumes 4 and 5 have unusually many inscriptions and the writing seems to be lacking. Some of these parts were revised when they were published as e-books.

The publication was discontinued when the publisher, Jamobooks, closed down its fantasy novel publishing business. Afterwards, it began serialization on Cug in 2008, and the remaining two volumes were completed as a web novel in the same year.

Characteristics[]

In this work, it uses chapters (장 (章, jang)), but it usually overlap with chapters used in volume version, here it temporarily uses parts as chapters.
